IKEA is one of the most valuable and innovative companies in the world, with over 400 stores in 49 countries, 345 billion Swedish Kronor in revenue last year and 180 000 employees.
This year IKEA launched IKEA Bootcamp, a startup accelerator for startups solving the IKEA 'Big Problems'. The startups in the program each receive a 200 000 SEK equity-free grant, co-working space, housing and mentorship.
